Frontier Defense Technology Statement on AI Model Continuity for Defense Programs
Frontier Defense Technology is aware of recent developments regarding the authorization status of certain third-party AI models for use in sensitive government workloads. The proprietary AI models integrated into GRIDWATCH and other Frontier defense programs are developed in-house under dedicated program accreditations and are not affected by these third-party authorization actions. No disruptions to fielded systems or delivery schedules are anticipated. Frontier continues to monitor developments across the broader AI vendor landscape and remains committed to delivering assured, independently validated AI capabilities to our defense customers.
Frontier Defense Technology has begun operational testing of GRIDWATCH: QRF, an iPad-based tactical decision training platform that captures expert command decisions to train next-generation AI advisors for the fielded GRIDWATCH C2 system.

Frontier Defense Technology has been awarded a multi-billion-dollar contract for full-rate production and fielding of the GRIDWATCH Battle Command & Control System. The contract includes production of ruggedized tablet units, software sustainment, and training support through FY2031.
